Kindergator Update 10.25.19

Kindergator Update 10.25.19 It was wonderful to meet with everyone this week and last week at conferences. I learned so much more about the kiddos as we talked. Thank you for taking time to come in! As always, if you have questions that have come up since our conference, please let us know. Reading: We worked on noticing and sounding out word endings. That means -ing, -ly, -ed, -s or -es. We listened for words with endings in the spooky fiction stories we read in class and then classified them into groups based on what ending they had. We spent lots of time on the tricky -ed ending that can make the sound “d” or “t” or “ed.” Math :   We took a break from classifying lessons and moved onto comparing numbers. We worked on vocabulary like more, greater, bigger and less, lesser, smaller. The muffins with the cheesecake filling frosting and the seeds seemed to be the favorites for sure!
