Kindergator Update

This week we focused heavily on routines and rules. I told the class today they were the best behaved class in Mrs. Hallmark and Mr. Cohen's assembly today, the best class we have ever had lining up quickly from recess and the best class at trying without crying. What a great beginning! We set a goal for improved hallway walking and less shouting out for next week. Today we chose our class jobs. We have first responders, class photographers, artists, messengers, greeters and lots more. Ask your child what job they have, and what questions they asked to be sure they knew how to do their job. We did not send towels home today. Most students haven't chosen rest time so they haven't used them much or at all. Next week we begin full content and a regular schedule. They will be tired after a full day of learning and content for sure! Thank you to: Sarah Kate, who was so brave walking places on her own and cheering herself on when she got there. Pennelope, who asks great

Here is a copy of our behavior chart. We introduced it today. We will talk more about it at Orientation next Thursday but I thought you might want a copy of it.
