My goodness has this week flown by. We got to give out our first trophies for sight words and it was the highlight of our year to see their faces as they made their choices and proudly posed next to them at their seats all day. What fun! Here are some things you might want to know about our week: Reading: We continued our unit on comparing and contrasting fairy tales with Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Snow Bears, Somebody and the Three Blairs and Leola and the Honeybears. Most of the class knows what things make up a fairy tale now and that not all fairy tales have all the elements. Go ahead and ask them (fingers crossed) and see how much they have learned.
