Mrs. Powers' Kindergators

Field Day is this Monday Please be sure to have your child dress for the weather with closed toed athletic shoes. There will be water stations so please send in a change of clothes in case your child gets soaked (and they will get soaked.) Please apply sunscreen to your child before they come to school, we cannot apply it to them here.  Please send in a water bottle for them to carry from station to station because we do not come into the school in between activities.

Today we are sending home some fragile gifts for Mother's Day. Please take a moment to get them out of your child's backpack as soon as possible. You should find a rolled up poster / card with a wrapped gift inside it. Also, Six Flags reading reward tickets went home today for anyone who participated in the contest. Please look for them in your child's blue binder. Lastly, I will not be here for the Gator Gala this Thursday. I will be attending my daughter's awards banquet. Please have your child arrive to the gym no later than 5:50 p.m. and meet the other kindergarten teachers there. Please have your child wear their purple Addison t-shirt as they will be performing the Pledge of Allegiance and The Star Spangled Banner. Good Luck Gators!
